White man asked for my name one time and when I mentioned my name Michael, he kept asking me what is your name? Again, I said Michael. The next question was, where you from? I replied Ghana. And he said, Ghanaians don't have their own names? So I wrote my own local name to him. After him mentioned my name, he said, you have a beautiful name and you calling yourself Michael. You see, that's why they always look down on us. We have neglected own.

If you open your physics or biology book many of the words originated from other languages other than english. That is the beauty of language: it borrows, adopts, and grows if you use it, or dies if you ignore it.

Stop being ignorant and think postively and believe in what you have and what you are, or risk being a follower and marginalized by ABROFO forever!!

How true this is.........

We have been made to believe and to accept that speaking of another lingo and aping around the lifestyles of others, other than our own.......is education. And in the process - acquiring degrees on paper by means of CHEW, POUR, PASS and FORGET.....and leaving behind our God-given COMMON SENSE.

Thank God the local media houses has generated more jobs in a short space of time, than any other English speaking ones. The 'wise ones' are creating jobs for for our people, irrespective of their background etc..... That IS....the African way.....OUR way! And may it continue to make Africans realize that we can generate our own prosperity by means of our own lingos within our own. (PLEASE THINK DEEPLY ABOUT IT).
