  Kunbuor was part of the process that led to the defeat of the party. He has hugely benefited from the party but turned against it by supporting Ambrose Dery for reasons best known to him and his family.

Mahama desperations saw him distributing V8 to chiefs, journalists, concert men and NPP moles. Therefore the reasons for NDC defeat does not need a committee to investigated .
