The lack of a good political strategist, is the bane of more political problems to come. Politics and the rule of law, are two different entities. Both complements each other's efforts to work better. NPP does not have good political strategists. Please, do not blame the IGP. Nana Addo need a strategy face the realities of Party Politics and stop being the worshiper of the Rule of Law, governance and politics are two things.

He should stop preaching to Ghanaians about how much he wants to deepen our democratic principles, always preaching like a pastor to his congregation. He has surrounded himself with political neophytes to the total exclusion of seasoned politicians who fought with him when the party was in opposition. These NPP security forces have sized him up and realized that Nana is not exhibiting any decisive leadership qualities, hence their decisions to go rogue and take the law into their own hands. I'm an ardent NPP sympathizer who voted to get rid of Mahama but I hope that in our attempt to get out of the frying pan, we don't end up in the fire.

Do you mean to tell the world that these anarchists were not prosecuted by the police but rather walked into the court room voluntarily to be interrogated by the judge ? I understand where you are coming from but don't let your political affiliation overwhelmingly dwarf the positive side of your brain. We are all one people with a common destiny in the name of our beloved country but because of our political affiliations, the positive side of people's brains are been swept away by the tsunami. If indeed, any form of invitation took place at all, I expected the police to do it since they are responsible for prosecution. The duty of a judge is to trial an accused person but not to interrogate so please put on your thinking cap before subjecting yourself to a laughing stalk.

Before and after independence, Ghana had never ever experienced this disgraceful Police inaction. Thugs storming a court premises and rescuing 13 accused persons under the nose of the Ghana Police Service? This is first in history and it is a very BIG BLOW on the current Ashanti Regional Police Commander and the IGP. What happened to their usual standard operations? What happened to their intelligence collection network? Didn't they hear the threats coming from the violent and dishonorable MP, Kennedy Agyapong regarding the Delta Forces? What was the IGP and his lieutenants doing to assist the Ashanti Regional Command in this regard? Didn't the IGP draw up operational plan to cover the court proceedings? How on earth could the Police only deployed only four policemen at the court to protect life and properties when far in advance, even civilians knew the danger coming because of the uncultured attitude of the mad MP? Where were the Ashanti Regional Police SWAT unit the "BUFFALOS" and the Regional mobile force, who could have easily secured the court premises and effectively dealt with the thugs? Were all the senior Police Officers including the IGP and the current Ashanti Regional Police Commander gone to sleep or they just didn't have the right men to do the job? You see, this is what happens when some police men hide behind politicians and lobby for posts. They are just square pegs in round holes. They can't do the job and yet they wont allow the right people do the job. They decorate themselves with ranks and yet cannot do the job that marches with their ranks. Sometimes I feel like they have devalued the ranking system in the Police Service. How many Commisioners of Police do we have these days? Very incredible! We don't have tough and good Cops in Ghana today exept those officers and men who wear political singlets and pants under their uniform? Please they should know that the wearing of the Police uniform and ranks demand more professionalism from them than aligning themselves with political parties. These days, apart from one or two top cops at the police headquarters, we don't seem to have tough and fearless Police Officers who can manage and handle tough and critical situations. Politics, corruption and whatnot have contaminated the once noble Ghana Police Service. Politicians should stop destroying our Police Service we once upon a time served with all we could to make Ghana a proud and safe country to live in. Unfortunately, the emergence of these political private armies in the names of invincible and delta forces our National Security is seriously under siege and if prompt action is not instituted, another Bokom Haram or ISIS will be born in Ghana. Imagine what happen to us the moment these thugs lay hands on sophiscated arms, grenades, pistols, machine guns, bombs and whatnot? Ghana will become a doomed country. The Military should be allowed to step in to assist the helpless Police to bring the situation totally and completely under control.

The Ashanti Regional Police Commander is a supporter of those criminals,he needs to be removed from that position,he supported their action at the Regional Coordinator's office,he deliberately did not send enough police officers there to protect the court and the judge.
No serious police chief will do something like that leaving a court trying such hardened criminals in the hands of two officers one of who is pregnant,not even a lunatic will do that sending a pregnant woman to guard a court trying violent criminals like those animals,shame on them.

The npp does not know those who love them,let tackle this mater with maturity I innsist we can use violence arrest and punishment to solve a problem like this,our Asante tigional plus national executives ve failed the president on this case,right from the beginning they dhouldve gone underground to talk and dialogue with this groups and assure them they mean well.we re doing politics,it's not only during elections that we hold meetings to prosecute plans to outwit our political opponents,we must continue to do so even in power.The president should categorize all the appointments and the ones that require broader consultations he does that to avert the grassroots disagreeing with the appointments,it happened under Ndc during the appointments of some DCE,s and MMDCE,s including some departmental heads.I would've resolved this issue in 3 days given the opportunity,the level of unemployment in the country is already alarming,just listen to the immediate past defence minister Mr Benjamin Kumbou and you ll agree with me that the approach adopted by the npp is wrong,in any case the boys should've been granted bail whiles the case continued,if you grant a person bail you ve bond the person because all those who ll sign their bails become part of the case and re liable incase they escape or fail to report.We don't ve to use remand as punishment on bailable offenders as the case is in this country,the police engage in this always,anytime someone is arrested they go to court appealing for remand and often forget about this people to rot in jail,only for the state to later lament on such case and getting human right lawyers to free such person under the Justice for all model why?npp knows this people and must go underground to appeal to them.Why didn't the npp use the ADR system within the law to settle this matter?i guess everybody is busy lobbying for appointments and has forgotten that there re member who has no certificates and re part of the victory too,what happened in court was wrong and I still insist that the police should've granted them bail,the judges must also realize that case like this must not be treated with the kind of approach it adopted,what would've happened if the judge granted them bail to reappear on the said date?npp should remember Asante region is the strong hold of the party and any unpopular decision there ll attract tensions.

Blame it on high unemployment. These guys have nothing to with their life. So they believe in their heart that what they're doing is service to the country. On the contrary, what they're doing is a crime. You can demonstrate, but you can't rush into a courtroom and assault a court official and a judge. I don't care you're NPP or NDC or NWA or KGB or CIA or FBI or GBI, you can't do what these thugs are doing.
Also the media in Ghana must stop giving them the name Delta Force. YOu give them life by assign a name to them.
