Its so disturbing to listen to or see this guy speak. For him we should mitigate bad behavior once the person fought hard and is with the winning team. And yet he wins election after election. This is So so sad.
Look at all he has said. effectively he says cover up the wrong doing, tolerate them if you must, they cant and should not be touched. If you take a decision and these oafs and uninformed guys decide they are not happy with it you the better informed must compromise. That is the though process of a person who measures success by the amount of money , cars and who sole ambition is to purchase a personal jet even though it makes no sense and he has no place to go to.

If the allegations against Kan Dapaah are true about these diehard supporters going to him for help but him turning them away, then what it means is, there is a classic situation of Monkey do the work, wey baboon dey come chop. That is a problematic situation right there and there will be challenges.
The security services cannot however be turned into political party force of ruling gov'ts. That undermines the professionalism of the security services so if Kan Dapaah rejected calls to get these diehard supporters of the party into the security services on the basis they weren't qualified he could have a point. But the issue at stake here is has it been done before by the past gov't, and if yes, what are the implications for the security of the President and the whole of Ghana? Wouldn't it make sense to have a counter-balance to such a situation? In the face of such a situation, Kan Dapaah and NPP cannot be holier than the Pope. The security apparatus of the state must be carefully balanced once it has been politicized right from the onset.
