Please leave Kofi Boakye alone. Why should he even be transferred to Accra in the first place? If a new IGP is appointed today, he will also transfer the or reshaffle the top hierachy of the service for the public to see that he has come to work. These are some of the results of the unnecessary transfers. Some Regional Commanders spent only eight or less months at their stations when they were transferred to other Regions by the new IGP. Is it an act of vindictiveness or what?

It is the kind of politics we do in Ghana that necessitates that every new government changes both the Police head and the head of the army. Hopefully, as our politics grow these institutions will see themselves as serving the state and not any political party. When they rediscover themselves and do not allow ruling parties to manipulate them then some sanity would prevail in especially the police. There would be no unnecessary removals and unnecessary transfers.

He was a professional crime officer both physically and intellectual. Crime in Greater Accra when he was in charge and again reduced in Ashanti when he was transferred. But then, a people accustomed to solving problems must be able to solve their own problems. I believe he trained a few people to continue his professional works before he left Ashanti. All I can say is " there is light at the end of the tunnel" Good job Kofi. Your competence is being manifested.
