May say this in comment that I believe that the aim of the media is to save our environment which would not have changed from what they thought during the Mahama administration. The question you should ask yourself is that did the media see the same seriousness attached to fighting this evil this current government attaches to it in the Mahama administration. If I want to help at something but realise that it is not a genuine attempt but mere pretense I would not continue. I believe that the media realised that behind the scenes the government was rather supporting these Chinese galamseeyers because they were giving it money why would they continue to waste their time?

I am wondering how a party and President which was very much focused on it's principles of looting and concentrated about 80-90% of it's time in that exercise of looting the country bonkers, could be talking about fighting galamsey and accuse the media of hypocrisy.
Maybe when the current NDC party which has collapsed is replaced or evolves, they will begin to move away from the principles of thievery and looting of which this past NDC administration concentrated about 80-90% of their time, and focus on such national issues and spend 100% of their time, instead of create, loot and share. Ghana hopes to see the day that evolved NDC party, if it ever comes to power again, will learn the simple effects of prioritizing national issues as opposed to their stealing and thieving expeditions. Then Suhuyini can begin to make the case of whether the media is hypocritical and never helped any President from that their evolved NDC party.

If the President couldn't get anything done because the media didn't have his back then what kind of President was he? The President initiates the program and seeks the support of the media, not the other way around. This means President Mahama had no plans of his own, in other words he was a do nothing President. Ghana can't afford to have the like of him again.
