  Hypocrites why now? When NDC started to fight this cancer the then NPP was kicking against that with all sort of theories that because of it the Chines Embassy refuses to give visas to import traders to and from China.

  What has Kimberly Process got to do with surface mining or galamsey?
  Let's be serious and either outlaw this practice until such a time we have control over the environment for the future and draw up a very robust system underpinned by laws and statutes and the setting up of agencies and departments with trained personnel who can have a very good grip on the industry should we decide to subject the environment to surface mining again. This has nothing to do with any Kimberly Proces.
  It's about surface mining, environmental degradation and destruction of all of Ghana's water bodies and land reclamation.
