  I am confused Rev. or is it ghweb! You said some people marry and therefore change their DOB. What has maiden name got to do with Date of Birth???

  Allow the teachers to change their DOB bcos ALL Directors, Headmasters, Headmistresses and Principals have changed and are changing their DOBs. Go check. I believe the Director General is even more than 60 years.

  Reason is to prolong their well come in d service pure and simple. There must be a better way for these experienced teachers to stay much longer ,than for them to resort to this.I read somewhere that university professors are in short supply, why then are those due for retirement aren't given d option to stay longer?

  Why do people want to change their date of birth after working for 20 years or older? It's okay to change your name after you marry but to change your date of birth raises red flag. Why should GES tolerate this practice ?To me, it's a fraud and waste of resources. GES shouldn't entertain this practice.

  What does this statement from the GES inform the reader and the general public? It means something is fundamentally wrong with the way our system of governance and administration are operated. The only thing that comes to mind is, gosh! these guys operate on falsehood, assumptions, falsification, incongruity, etc. You cannot run a nation successfully if the basics like date of birth of none other than hundreds of TEACHERS is wrong or flawed one way or the other.
  My suggestion to President Akuffo Addo and the Ministers of Education and of Labor and Employment to clean up this mess by employing officers in every village, town and city to record the date of birth of every child born in Ghana and also record every death. We have to begin from somewhere. This will have the added benefit of providing jobs for thousands of unemployed Ghanaians. The death registration will also sanitize the system by getting rid of ghost names on government payrolls. Every nation that is perceived as a developed nation had to grapple with this problem at one time of their nationhood. We in Ghana have to begin from the basics else we aren't going anywhere.

  Most heads of secondary schools are guilty of this and the education minister should woke up .He should start from there and they will see the results will be marvelous.
