  But why Government sell ECG to a private company? Why will Government want a foreign company to manage our energy? Is it not like asking your bitter rival to manage the air you breath in? NO!

  They should privatise ECG and Ghana water - these same workers have been in charge for decades now and the service is as unrealisable as ever. Constant outages and power surges damaging appliances with impunity. On top we pay sky high prices through prepaid metres which are also unrealisable and sometimes when you need replacement you have to wait months for one to become available unless you pay a hefty bride. Enough is enough. Lets hand over the running of these essential institutions to private sector managers with proven track record of efficient management of such utilities.

  ECG only know how to send huge estimate bills even when their staffs come to read the meters. I am against complete privatisation but please sack all the workers of ECG. Their workers are all corrupt. I have never any group of thieves like ECG staffs. They came last into my house, disconnect the power and ask me to put on my fridge and pump. They think it is all of us that do illegal connection. They were ashamed they found nothing. Fire them all.
