  While reasonable people continue to find a peaceful solution to the unfortunate clash between Alavanyo and Nkonya, nincompoops like this commentator write reposts that are not helpful. You are referring to 'those animals from Nkonya' but the facts established are that the Nkonya people gave the land to the Alavanyo people to settle there - hardly an act by your 'animals'. Please keep quiet if you cannot contribute to the peace.

  Dear Regional Minister Letsa, thank you for your concern for peace. But acquiring the 'land in dispute' will be a lazy action of a lazy brain of a lazy leader. In a constitutionally ordered state, an aggrieved party goes to court. And when a verdict is passed, the state uses its authority to enforce the court decision.
  Why not ask the disputing parties to go to court? Or there is already a court decision that Government is reluctant to enforce? That would be a danger to law and order as it rewards criminality and promotes impunity.
  When Nana Addo went to court in 2013 and lost, did he take up arms to fight John Mahama? The Delta Forces in Kumasi attacked somebody over a post. Has Government 'acquired' that post? Are the Delta culprits not in court?
  Mr Minister, please do your home work well and you will see that one side went to court and won, and all Governments since Nkrumah upheld the verdict until the PNDC came in 1982 and started favouring the side that lost in court. That is what has brought us here. There was no land dispute until the PNDC came. Government must enforce the court decision for a lasting peace. Anything else will send a wrong signal, and an evil precedent that will be bad for Ghana. Just check the side that has been pushing for government to seize the land and you get the drift. If you believe that something is genuinely yours, will you call on government to seize it? King Solomon gave mankind the answer thousands of years ago.
