The only deterrent for armed robbery whether it resulted in a loss of life is CAPITAL punishment. Why does the State allow a minority of citizens or foreigners terrorize the law-abiding majority? Never mind the human rights of the criminals. The countries who promote the human right of criminals to the detriment of decent citizens have the resources to pamper those evil people. By comparison, Ghana is struggling economically and doesn't have the means to waste on criminals. Criminals have no use for any country. If anything, they are nation-wreckers.

Mark my words, as soon as Ghana starts wasting the lives of armed robbers and murders, such crimes will cease.

Yes you are right Ankonam, they hope and believe that when ever they are arrested, they will spend some years in jail and they will be set free, so if the states decided to waste their life i believe the robbery will stop
