This is the reason why workers were not getting paid on time, sometimes for two years or more. Even Kwasi Pratt, Arku Gunn, Bobby Ansah, Alister Nelson and a host all these blah!!! blah !! blah! NDC stooges were illegally enjoying these largesse. Now Ghanaians should be ready for flimsy excuses that these crooks will use to stage demonstrations because they are EYE RED. At Cafes, when d registration failed in d system they kept on reregistering dat brought abt repeated names during the day. D4 d repeated names may be an ICT error. ADB had initial E zwich challenges. Some of the machines were faulty. D4 a lot of beneficiaries monies are kept at d Suspense Accounts. VERIFY. I can't rule out any financial malfeasance but d figure may not be as huge as speculated by d New PRO. He is there to project YEA NOT to damage. Channel all grievances thru ur MGT.Some beneficiaries may be absent at work becos of non payment of their migre salaries. Finally I can say dat d multiple E zwich numbers may be incorrect.D figure may be very low. CHECK ur facts well. ADB is also frustrating d beneficiaries by operating two accounts for d beneficiaries. ADB devides monies into two, one in the main deposit accounts and d remaining monies are loaded into d E zwich. Why. In order to deduct their COT.Has he identified this problem. There's no iota of truth in the publication. It is an attempt to give the dog a bad name in order to hang it. There's every attempt to create the impression that, YEA performed abysmally during the era of the ndc. The Agency has since been rated worldwide as one one the most proactive as far as providing jobs first the teeming youths of Ghana is concerned.
Every recruitment is done online, applicants are selected and undergone interview by qualified and competent people. In the case of youth in community police, their interview is done by a police officer who then ensures that they meet the basic requirements.
The list is then forwarded to the District Director, who then send it to the RD for final approval by the CEO of YEA, a contract appointment letter of two yrs is issued to that effect. The applicant is then made to open a bank account biometrically to avoid impersonation. These applies to all modules, that is CETA, CHW, EPO, SANITATION, FSA, PSA and all others. Npp took over the reins of governance and appointed their CEO, all RDs and some few staffs at the Hqts were asked to proceed on leave without any justification. The Agency is backed by an Act of parliament act 887/2015 and perform its duties as any public service. They're part of the nation’s PSWU/ TUC. It is unfortunate Awal Mohammed, who once tried all his possible best to join the Agency couldn't succeed because he on several occasions failed interview by the psc. would spew such lies.
Honestly, he left the ndc to join the npp in the latter part of the 2016 elections because he felt there could have been something done to make his employment successful. I pity him for destroying the hard won reputation of the Agency. As I write this, all youth organisers of the npp in almost every constituency have been given appointment letters to join the Agency without checking their mode of qualifications.
There's no board of directors in place, yet appointment letters are issued every now and then.
Ghanaians must certainly not forgive the npp If they should ever destroy the recent unprecedented success chalked by the Agency. I am not a staff of the Agency though, but I have a vast array of knowledge about the operations of the Agency, because I work in the psc and had had the opportunity to interview most of their staffs for recommendations for appointments. It is disheartening that, such a noble initiative could be destroyed by concocted and unfounded allegations, simply to get rid of some staffs of the Agency. I believe the labour laws of our dear country must work to protect it image and the entire staffs who have been resolved recruited get genuinely without any political coloration. I have the firm belief that, H. E. Nana Akufo Ado, would react quickly to salvage the image of the Agency in order to avoid repetition of such lawsness any time there's a change of government.
