Isn't it curious that a political party in opposition which is clamoring to find out the causes of its humiliating defeat at the polls would mass up followers to support a corrupt brother of its defeated flagbearer who is being investigated for fraud. If the NDC is serious about identifying those who caused its defeat, it has just found one in the person of Ibrahim Mahama. This man owed the erstwhile Merchant Bank and opted to hide behind his brother the President and refuse to pay until his bad faith was exposed. This time he fraudulently issued dud cheques in payment of duties payable on his imports, again hiding behind the authority of his brother the President. Is this a person that a whole political party should defend? Ibrahim Mahama should be tried and made to refund the money with interest before proceeding to jail because that is what is done to all other Ghanaians who do what he did. The NDC should go to hell and rot in opposition for being a Party that condones fraudulent acts perpetrated by its members. They should also end the exercise of finding out why they lost the last elections because they will not recognize the causes, just as they don't recognize the damage done to them by President Mahama's corrupt and fraud-loving siblings, particularly Ibrahim Mahama.
