If they have no good drinking water, that would be the devil's alternative. I remember being sent to Tamale to do my National Service. There was a pond near the Ghana Secondary school where cattle, sheep, goats and humans all got their water from.
What I did was to fetch the water late in the evening and make sure that the dirt was settled the following day. Then, in the morning, I used a folded cotton to sieve it, boil it up to 100 degrees, keep it in my bedroom till evening before I could get drinking water. People from the locality did not bother themselves with all that so they was a high rate of Guinea worm among the locals.
The MP and DCEs of the area should provide them with boreholes to reduce water related diseases.

These people gave them their support all these years but these crooks swindled them in humongous fashion. Look at SADA and the YEA program. These NDC crooks are annoying to extent that, I will take my time and dissect issues very soon. Is it not ashame for some of these goons to kill a whole cow and roast it in Accra for their end of year party whiles their folks in the North are perishing under abject poverty?. Some of these goons even feel humiliated to be identified to their various villages and have made Accra and Kumasi their background. I am very disturbed e.g. this morning because my attention was brought to this issue from another source and so this the second time today my attention has been brought to this same issue. Our brothers from the North who are doing good financially should make it their moral responsibility and emulate the Kwahu people as role models and set up special programs every year either in Christmas or on the Easter holidays and go back home and help. Stop wasting your money on your numerous girl friends and use a portion of that money on our people back home. Mr Obvious you know that you're the one I'm talking to !!!. You and your family have looted so much from the coffers of the state, so now go home and embark on some charitable projects because we came here with nothing and shall likewise return with nothing. God gave some of you the opportunity to help your people but not to be only flamboyant in Accra, Dubai, Pretoria, London and New York. The government may do it but enough. So the onus lies you natives in the various communities to do the chunk of the developments.

We as Ghanaians can help contribute money in the form of a donation and contract out a well digger to embark on such exercise. This will be the good Samaritan way. We cannot alway rely on government to do good for our own people. God bless mother Ghana.
