Illiteracy and greed are what propelled these people. Promises of fantastic rates of return. They make the decision to take the risk, and then they want to be bailed out when there is trouble. Akuffo Addo should not have promised them anything, but if he made such a promise then these greedy people should know that making good on such a promise does not happen in 3 or 4 months. I'm fairly sure that when such a promise might have been made, they were not told that restitution will be done in 4 months. Ghanaians seem to insist that we can be as stupid as we want but we do not want to live with the consequences of our stupidity!
