  We are all Ghanaians, don't start diversion and racism. Besides Ga are a minority in Tema. Tema was a village before Nkrumah decided that our port should be in Tema.

  Lets face the reality; apart from Accra and Tema, all other indigenous Ga townships are seriously under developed. And the reason is not far fetched; majority of the dwellers are strangers, dominated by the Kwahus and settlers from the Great Kookoase Kingdom.
  
  You see, it is so sad that my ignorant Ga chiefs always hit the news headlines for some frivolous and stupid reasons.
  
  The nonsense started when these chiefs ignore the tremendous contribution of Ohene Gyan to Ghana Soccer and forced the AMA, under Oko-Abodwese, to revert OheneGyan Sports Stadium back to the Accra Sports Stadium, citing that Ohene Gyan is not a Ga. Meanwhile, their friends from kookoase whom they call Bushmen, in their superior wisdom, happily and wholeheartedly accepted Baba'n Yara - an indigene of the Northern Savanna Dry lands - to be named after the Kumasi Sports Stadium. Fantastic!
  
  These Chiefs did not end there. They also wanted all commercial drivers in Greater Accra to pay royalties or daily toll to the Ga Traditional Council, simply because they ply their business on Ga lands. Seriously?
  
  Anyways, methinks the Tema mantse must be stripped of his title now. He has show that he is ignorant of the demographics of his own traditional area. Tema is what it is today not because of Gas but the more than 60% business oriented Akans, led by the proud industrious Kookoase Settlers who have now been assimilated into his majestic jurisdiction.

  This is because the Tema indigene MCE's have run-down Tema so much that it currently stinks worse than Korle Bu mortuary.

  Hello beautiful people of Ghana, let's not begrudge the Tema Mantse since he doesn't stand alone in this line of thinking though wrongfully so. In the dynamics of modern nation building, laws almost everywhere allow for a child born in any jurisdiction to be an automatic citizen; this has seen Africans and for that matter Ghanaians hold high offices in the diaspora. Two typical examples are when a Ghanaian became the Chancellor of the Exchequer and when a Kenyan became the President of the most powerful nation on earth. These and more are feats we hit our chests proudly about yet right here in our country, there is tribal based discrimination. No matter where you were born you are still tagged a foreigner even though you might be better vexed in issues than a so called indigene who might not be up and doing. It's high time we depart from these issues bordering on mediocrity and tap talents that would deliver to advance the cause of society,such as has made nations such as the US of A great. This is a nation that is still poaching talents to make citizens to the extent that a first generation Schwarzenegger could become a governor.
  Let's wake up to the reality of the day.
