SOURCE: CLASSFMONLINE.COM --------- The Economic and Organised Crimes Office (EOCO) has asked Mr Ibrahim Mahama, brother of former President John Mahama, to pay GHC 12.7m to the state by May 8. The amount represents duty for goods he cleared at the Tema Port with 44 dud cheques in 2015, plus interest.

This is a fraud case, these NDC operatives are just evil minded creatures, they think that people who are connected to their evil fraternity should be treated with a different set of laws. Last summer I almost had my car confiscated at the Tema Port. I had to liquidate a portion of my property on a giveaway price and deals just to be able to get my car. How did he even get his heavy duty equipment released to him when his checks even bounced. Why did other people had their properties confiscated under the same circumstances. Nana should ignore every pressure from his supporters and prosecute this case. Because if you don't prosecute this case people will use it as a weakness and likely try to manipulate the system in the likewise. After all what's good for the goose is also good for the gander.

Isn't it the duty of the EOCO to make sure that people abide by the same rules, economically? Why should a person sidestep the process just because of political affiliation? Let the EOCO do its work and let's all learn to play by the same rules.

Any time the political table change, members of the losing party which was the ruling government are incarcerated by EOCO and vice-versa. I love that.
