You read the headling 'Government to reclaim 1.5 percent of degraded lands' - and you think, so, only 1.5% of the land that has been degraded will be reclaimed.
Then you read the first paragraph and realise, no, the 1.5% refers to the proportion of landmass of Ghana that has been degraded. GNA paa!!!

Mr minister, fighting against galamsey is not about going rounds o. Is about the law, for example, if 100 people is arrested and jail them 10 years each i bet you no one will go to the site again. So what I have seen in Ghana is that our institutions doesn't function, so you have to focus on that but going rounds can't do anything at all
