The amount represents duty for goods he cleared at the Tema Port with 44 dud cheques in 2015, plus interest.

What makes Akufo Addo a star? Anyway he is not a star in Ghana let alone Africa.I am sure it is a branding tactics. Where the NDC government borrowed $3billion US dollars in three years, the NPP government under Nana Akufo Addo borrowed the same amount of $3 billion US dollars in only three months.Again his government signed a secret bond $2.5 billion US dollars just last week.More to that he has failed in the governance of the nation,One is he has appointed 110 ministers,ahuge number ever in the history of Ghana.Price of goods and services keep shooting up as a result of frequent increase in fuel prices.In less than 4 months under Akufo Addo fuel prices went up more than five times,just recently April 24 th fuel went up again,so it is expected that prices of and services will shoot up again as transport fees will automatically go up.In my view he is only a statue and not a President ,because evidence emanating from the activities of vigilante groups from his party shows he is not in control of the Presidency,because these vigilate groups could ransack his appointees without his comment.In fact people should stop branding this running nose president otherwise it will force some of us to also come out and repel it.What at all makes him a star?After someone has handed power peacefully to you and have allowed your party members to go from house to house beating people and ceasing their properties,do all these failure and incompetence and irresponsibility make someone a star? Nonsense.
