  Silly utterances; they wouldn't stop it until the government provide them with alternate jobs. Why do Ghana entertain nonsense. You are destroying the land for all to suffer in future for peanut revenue. What did they do with all the money they made so far? So stealing is illegal in Ghana but i will do it until the government provide me with a job. What a silly statement. I wish i am the Sec Of Defense in Ghana. I would have burried them in the pits they are digging.

  The lands minister must never think we are abandoning him or the cause to eradicate galamsey.We don't know when Ghana will get such a great minister for that sector so we are 1000%behind him.What the galamsey people are doing right now is testing his resolve and commitment. The slightest show of backtracking or fear and they will be back in full force digging again tomorrow. I know them.Just remember that they were making a living before galamsey hit Ghana. If they are really looking for work then please direct them to us.Farms in Ashanti region are always looking for workers.

  Don't put everything on Gov't.They shold come out with alternative operations that will not have any destructive effect on our land n our water bodies.They should also get licence to operate.
