There are procedures in place to get married in the UK. you can't just get a visitors visa on pretence and get married afterwards. its called Deception, and to you my friend, its FRAUD. When she got married she stayed all these years on a six months visitors visa. Meaning she was illegal. just use a bit of brain before jumping on the bandwagon. acquiring a visa on misinformation is a fraud. Period!

  The tricks you have been playing in Ghanaian courts cannot work in the UK. The accusation comes from the British gov't so play your trick on them. Let them go and defend themselves in the UK court where law is law.

Do you have to overstay your visa if you were there to marry? Was it family re-union or just a visit.Is he more conversant with immigration laws more than the British High Commissioner? He should just shut up and go and learn about the different types of visas which can be issued.

Please spare us these excuses. From what you are saying the dad knew that she his daughter was going to get married but failed to inform the embassy. Therefore the dad claiming in a previous report that his daughter absconded is now seen to be false. Please stop coming up excuses otherwise you will be making the case more mulkier

  With all due respect, Nana Obiri Boahene, you have got it all wrong and must get the facts right. If the daughter of the MP got married, then it was done without the father's knowledge. In any case, by UK immigration laws, if there was any marriage it could only take place in Ghana and not UK after which the lady could join her husband.
  The fact is the lady overstayed her visa granted and therefore was an illegal immigrant. Nana Obiri Boahene, you should know what the law says before you embarrasse yourself with such statement. Marjority of Ghanaians are known not to be law abiding and that is affecting the development of the country. Very shameful indeed.
