What has the government done about it. It's allowed because politicians are getting their share. Instead of regulating galamsay to create jobs for the unemployed youths, you here displaying your typical Ghanaian selfishness because you been fortunate enough to get sourc of livelihood. Our forefathers knew there was gold in the soil and could have done what these illegal miners are doing but in their wisdom and love for future generations they opted to farm the land. What prevents the modern generation from doing same? Greediness, selfishness and lack of care for the nation and its future.
