What world is this person presiding in this case living in? Does he or she realise that this drug is being legalised gradually all over the world? Does he or she not realise that in a country like Ghana where unemployment is rife people have to make difficult choices to survive? If this man must be sentenced because he has broken the law of the land, it should be reasonable. Six months at the most, I mean has he hurt anyone? Did he steal anything? Some people are just drunk on power. Power over others without responsibility or compassion. They know how difficult life is for a lot of people, but they just don't care. This particular person presiding in this case is a singularly cruel person who should not be in the position he or she find themselves in.
Only the Hign Court in Ghana should be able to dish out sentences over three or four years. Well that's my humble opinion.

Please, reduce the sentence. Even the Canadian government is to legalize Marijuana by next year, however, it will be regulated accordingly. It is medicinal, as it has been proved scientifically.
