  WE LOSE MORE FROM MINING THAN WHAT WE GAIN FROM IT. COMPARE THE ETERNAL DEVASTATION THE LAND LEFT OVER AFTER MINING. OBUASI IS A GOOD EXAMPLE AFTER SO MANY YEARS OF GOLD MINING. WHAT HAS OBUASI GOT FROM IT?

Instead of taking time to think about the probable benefits of this mining, they sit on the tree and shout "stop galamsey". Which country on this earth will allow its population to endure poverty when mineral are buried in the soil? not even the USA. You sit on gold yet you are dirty poor. Is the parliament bankrupt of intelligent members to develop policy? Poor Ghana.
