hon Alidu seidu has no second chance,if the president appoint him for the second time he the president has violated the law.The local government standing orders states it clearly that if a nominee fails to secure 50% of the members present vote,the president shall appoint another person but if he secures 50% of members present vote and does not secure two thirds of the members present the president can still gives him a second chance.Hon Alidu seidu had 7 votes out of 15 representing 46.7.So in conclusion he has no second chance.
The local government and rural development refernce book for the district assembly,article 16,page 144,point 10 states it clearly there.we will go for court injunction if the president gives him a second chance.we in the NPP believe that we must allow the law to work
