The so called big companies such as Samartex, LLL , AYUM, JCM etc are harvesting timber far beyond the yields (what they are given to fell) and below felling limits but connive with FC officials to cover up. This practice has being going on for long and if not checked we will soon import timber from Togo.

Even before you finish with the galamsey menace, please sir, turn your eyes to the mence of ilegal felling of trees in the forest. Since 2009 the forests all over the country had been depleted of any kind of trees whether grown or not rendering them useless. Furthermore, people are farming in the forests to complicate the menance.
Please sir come hard on these nation wreckers or the future generations will really suffer because severe climate change will happen. Rain fall will be less and drought and heat will be the order of the day.
