Unfortunately I can not see Rawlings as the leader of that change.Remember the acidic insults they rained down on him
when he criticised Mills for not fighting corruption.Sharper attacks must be expected if Rawlings was to challenge NDC to reform/purge the tainted leadership and he has shown no impulse towards confronting the very people whose support he is trying to scure for his daughter's political ambitions.How incredibily short sighted.Because with the current trajectory of NDC Prez Rawlings cannot count of a credible NDC party that will be capable of launching a serious presidential bid by the time his daughter is ready to run.

In reality, J.J Rawlings can never claim to be the founder of NDC which was actually founded by the group of wise lecturer- intellectuals at the university of Ghana, Legon consisting of the late Prof. Attah-Mills, Prof. Hagan, Prof.Kweesi Boctwey and Ahoye'Brothers whom by their wisdom and intellect wanted to stop the blood shed and atrocities in the country invited him to lead and stand as the presidential candidate for the NDC with their total backing. In this respect Rawlings was not the founder of the great NDC was invited to lead the party just as the late President Nkrumah was invited to lead the then UGCC founded by Dr. Dankwah and co. in the Gold coast days.
