They know deep down in their hearts that none in NDC is as popular as Mahama so they are trying hard to cut him out and create chance for the aimless visionless Old man. Ask Nana what is his vision for Ghana and he will start throwing the answers left right front back without aim. Mama has had a great vision of infrastructural development that will create the platform for Ghana to take off, that is how Europe and America grew.

NDC should contest 2020 but they should have it at the back of their mind that they are just "also ran" party. There is no chance for them coming back so soon. If look at the trend in Ghana politics, it is not the one who leads but the party. At least every political party have two terms so there no way Ghanaians will change NPP for another party and deny the party a second term. NDC thought Mahama was running for a second term but they did not realize it was not about the leader but it was about the party and since they had completed their second term, there was no way Ghanaians were going to retain them most especially since their government was horrible. No one wants to see NDC in power anytime soon with the kind of people like Asiedu Nketia, Koku Anyidoho, Kofi Adams, Solomon Nkansah, and the rest still calling the shots. They will be in opposition for a long time.
