The question Ghana's smart people should ask is, what do we gain from this useless economic fraternity? Why since its inception in 1975 there is only 13% trade among its members? We have a case where Ghana has opened its boarders to Nigerian scammers and nation wreckers who would stop at nothing to destroy our tranquil country all in the name of ECOWAS.

I am all for regional economic organizations but at what cost? If the French speaking ECOWAS members prefer to trade with their colonial master, why then is Ghana wasting its time. Are the French speaking ECOWAS members going to abandon CFA franc and integrate their economies to support the eco, the ECOWAS currency? Tweaaa! a complete waste of time and resources

What is strategic about dealing with neighbours who have allegiance to their former colonial overlords? My brother, there must be always money for value in all cooperations with other countries be it African or not. Think Ghana first!!!

(Over 200 million dollar debt owed to nigeria by Ghana)..it is d reason why there is much needed energy which drives your economy (west african gas pipeline company from Nigeria)..some of you in your ignorance take nigeria for granted..Nigeria is ecowas..if Nigeria leaves ecowas then it will die and if it dies then west african economy dies cos we take away all our economic incentives and.
