It is very sad that we never think of the good of the country. At all levels, our mindset is always self indulgence. In destroying these kiosks, the AMA did the right thing. If the hawkers voted for Akuffo Addo, that should never mean they have a right to break any of the laws of Ghana. But they do not understand that simple fact. Just as the Delta Force should never invade a courthouse or shut down an office, these hawkers ought to know that obeying the law, is the first duty of a citizen!

Government has created over 4 million jobs for Ghanaians to enable people earn money, marry and look well after their wives and children. Nobody will be chasing these people aaba ei if they start working in the one-district-one factory which is more respectable and cleaner. If muscular able body men will hold a hanger of shirt all day saying they are selling and adding to congestion and traffic, how can we progess as a country. Instead of shouting and protesting they should write applications to be absorbed into the 'Planting for Jobs Initiative' which is a laudable intervention. That will rather help Ghana than so many boys selling mobile phones and playing tricks on customers. Nana Addo my husband bravo, bravo, bravo. Wu ye showboy ampa.

Let us stop politicizing matters in Ghana. Circle. The interchange for some months now has turned into a market place. No one has the right to sell there and it's good they have been kicked out of the place. I hope they are not allowed back there. Hiding behind politics to allow people do wrong is not only wrong its foolish. It blindly promotes wrong doing and lawlessness in our nation and we must all help stop this malady. Politicizing such issues only hurts us and we must stop this now. This is a good step. More needs to be done and must be done to rid Accra off all such illegal settlements and sellers who take the law into their own hands.
