If somebody wanted to develop Africa for us, considering the resources we have, material and human, Africa would have been developed a very, very long time ago.
Having said that, how much does Africa cumulatively commit to research and development which translates to economic progress and prosperity?
We have an agrarian economy and import fertilizer when we are sitting on deposits we could process into fertilizer, to transform our agricultural value chain and feed the whole world from value addition activities to cite just but one example.
Do we even know what we have as a continent? No one wants to develop Africa for us because it is not in their interest to develop Africa for Africans. We, must commit to doing that by putting our money where our mouth is.

What we know is, the huge hydrocarbon potential of Ghana was tapped within 8 years under NPP. I am inclined to believe and confident in the fact that, NPP can get the job done and have the blueprint.
