  These people have lived in Ghana and supervised the disappearance of almost all the forests in Ghana. What the fuck are they going to learn in five days to save the forests and wildlife in Ghana? Another shopping trip.

  You guys berating the forestry people is misplaced. Its always better late than never, am in the industry I can tell you Ghana's forestry is the best run commission in Africa. So many things have changed from the times when people were just doing whatever they wanted to the laws been enforced now where most contractors follow the rules and regulations and also enforced steps taken to tackle illegal chainsaw operations. There are so many laudable steps they are taking to tackle forest degradation and there are also many seminars at the local level engaging contractors and local communities on how to preserve our forests. So all stakeholders are been engaged, so there is more education and exposure, so I think going forward we will be able to salvage our forests and be sustained for generations to come that's why conferences like the one they're attending is imperative to share ideas and also keeping them on their toes.
