Please go back and read the history of Ghana. People reverted to Islam because of their good character and conduct. Do you really understand the word pepeni?? Go back and ask your great grandparents that why Muslims were called pepeni. The correct pronunciation is papani (someone who does good) due to their good character that is why the akans gave them that name. Please also listen it's not all people who are from northern part of Ghana are Muslims. We have akans who are pious Muslims, go to Kumasi and see, people like Mallam Issah Osei (may his soul rest in perfect peace) Dr. Amin Bonsu and his family and many other people, I hope you have seen akan names attached to their names which shows their families name. So please don't talk with hatred and ignorance, try learn the religion from its correct perspective.
