Every presidential candidate is mandated to serve two presidential terms, BACK TO BACK deservedly if successfully given the mandate by the voting public to do just that. Unfortunately for Mahama, that was not to be and got only one term out of the two BACK TO BACK terms allowed by the constitution.

Now, should Mahama come back again in the near future, then he is entitled to enjoy the two terms stipulated by the constitution all over again if and only if the voting public are willing to let him travel the whole constitutional mile at the presidency as enshrined. To put it simple, a one term candidate can always come back and start all over again, but a two successfully term candidate can't, says the constitution vividly.

Case in point are Jerry John Rawlings and John Kofi Agyekum Kufuor. Learn!

However, the incompetent former president served one terms of five years that is enough for the electorates to send him a clear message that, as far as presidency of Ghana is concern he has no skills to do anything successfully. Simply put, when it comes to the level of leading a nation JMD was inept, ineffective or substandard that why he was always found wanting in his decision making.

Kwasi Pratt is a member of the CPP but because he is a stomach politician, he now speaks for the NDC so that he can get some rewards (money etc) which the CPP is not able to give him. He had wanted to go to parliament in 1996 on the ticket of the CPP and have a good life but lost miserable (check the above results). The next best option was to be an unofficial spokesperson of the NDC and get some goodies.

My friends,
I want to express my gratitude for your participation in the “Ask Mahama”. Thank you all! It was beautiful for me to see how many wonderful people are deeply interested in Ghana's future. I read every question and message carefully and each one helped me to better understand Ghana’s issues; to better understand YOU. Each answer I gave is also an answer I provided for myself.
I know that you care for this country, for its future, for its children, for its stability. I can tell you are interested in jobs safety and economic progress. I can understand that Ghana is your home and you want to feel safe and secure here.
It is with confidence that I say: we are now on the right track of this marathon towards the country we dream of. This is something that you can clearly see in the things happening around you, in the way this country has evolved - and it is not just me who says this.
The newly re-elected President of the United Stated of America, Barak Obama, after meeting our regretted John Evans Atta Mills, declared Ghana as "a wonderful economic success story". Also, he congratulated our country on the efforts Ghana has made to root out corruption, increase transparency, and to make sure that government is working for the people of Ghana and not just for the few.
This is a proof that the road we embarked on is a good one and that we can continue to be successful. Our progress is not un-noticed and our efforts are not without pay. Let us carry on this successful story that is Ghana even further.

There still are issues we need to take care of: we need to expand the access to quality education, to make Energy for All the bedrock of socio-economical transformation and to promote a decentralized governance agenda. But look at all we have already achieved: we are growing as a country; we have resources that we are managing better and better. We have people to count on. We have a future.

Why should the NDC waste time and money on that Kwesi Botchwey committee whilst the causes of the downfall of the party is clearly written on the walls of the heavenly skies?

Here are the main causes;

(1) Ekua Donkoh and Mahama relationship - voters saw this as an insult to their interlligence.

(2) Arrogance - NDC office holders were above reproach.

(3) JJ Rawlings - Rawlings betrayed Mahama & the NDC, rather supported Akuffo Addo, campaigned for the NPP through his actions.

(4) The Mahama family was smeared with corruption allegations which unfortunately they couldn't come out properly to defend.

(5) Unexperience ministers and government appointees.

(6) Mahama failed to use the decipline yard to adress the corrupt government and party officials.

(7) Mahama failed in tackling the poor man's economy, Maham's budget was seen as a richman's budget.

(8) Woyome - Martin Amidu portrayed Woyome's case as the cause of ALL Ghana's economic problems that it was Mahama and the NDC which are the hinderance for the retrieval of the HUUGE !! cash amount.

(10) The Guantamo prisoners - voters saw this as a sign of disrespect and a threath to their lives.

(11) Dumsor - voters saw the dumsor as the key to Mahama and the NDC's incompetence.

(12) Mahama's facelift operations (developments) was late and voters saw it as a cover up of Trillions of Dollars stolen by Mahama and the NDC.

(13) The media - the media played a big role against Mahama & the NDC. They only focused on the negative side of mahama and his NDC government, 95% of the media outcomes are against his efforts.

(14) Mahama became too a " gentleman " and that turns him into a fool and incompetence before the eyes of the voters.

(15) Last but not the least..JJ Rawlings was and is the greatest cause of NDC's falling.

Incase Mahama was bold against his actions this could've save him (mahama) some respect before his precious voters who voted for him in the 2012 elections.
