  It is the responsibility of the KMA to ensure that this does not happen. People will always take advantage of such situations if the laws are not enforced. This reflect the weakness of the KMA as an institution.

  There is too much lawlessness in this country. A similar situation is pertaining in Accra where traders have completely taken over the street in the central business area and the AMA is looking on .God help Ghana

  Stop insulting the traders. This is a case of law enforcement. It is the same all over the world. If the police fails to drive traders ,street-musicians, dealers etc.away from squares and tourist attraction sites ,they simply get invaded. The minister and KMA should blame themselves for not preventing folks from trading on the bridge. If i sell things for a living, i go where i can find customers. It sounds lawless, but for the traders it is sensible. People in the UK are not less lawless than Ghanaians. The Police arrest , prosecute or punish if you fool around. Our police must be more active. I hear some policemen even buy things themselves on the bridge.
