you guys must be circumspect before passing comments. it seems you have something against Ken. I watched the programmed on Adom tv. What Ken said is that Otiko was appointed by the president but Bugri Naabu was elected by the people of the north so in that respect the president can sack Otiko but Bugri Naabu has to go through elections before. so for that fact Otiko shouldnt have replied Bugri Naabu. Ken said if he was Otiko he would have kept quiet and not respond to Naabu as the president the president can sack her based on her uterances. You may not like Ken for his actions but he Ken was also elected by his constistuency so if they dont like him for his utterances, then they will have to wait till election time. Ken wasnt cricising Otiko but was advising her. Pls go to youtube and watch the programme then you will understand his submission. the was it was reported it looks like he was criticing Otiko.

Otiko did not need Bugri's permission to go to the Northern Region to exercise her duties. It is only a matter of protocol to announce her planned presence there to the Regional Administrator. And even where she did have to coordinate with Bugri to accomplish a task in the Region but failed to reach out to him, any reactive protest response from Bugri should not have included the behavior he showed, starting with organizing his own gang of vicious women to go attack Otiko.

The Northern Region does not belong to Bugri Naabu and his few cohorts who he might have managed to control as robots to do his bidding without questions.

The behaviors of both are disgraceful to the NPP and the Nation. And they must apologize not only to the Party but also to all the people of the Region and the Nation. Such News traveling beyond our borders places the Nation in a bad light.

It is grossly unfair to single out only Otiko for that admonishment and blame. Surely, what Ken says about their respective relative risks for losing their Positions might be true. But we must acknowledge that Bugri, being the older and more experienced, should have been the one who ought to have been more restrained to bring the matter up at a higher level of mediation later. Otiko, should have also realized that a sitting Cabinet Minister doesn't have to behave as she did.

It is correct that Otiko could be fired by the President. But the President could not just fire her because she stood up to an older bully who was not himself magnanimous.

Yes, Otiko Djaba must shut up. So must Kennedy Agyapong. So must Bugri Naabu. These people were apparently not trained to be dignified and to observe decorum. From what we read in the press, this whole mess began because Naabu disrupted a meeting being held by Djaba. If this is true, then I am with Djaba. Naabu is not a sovereign, and no part of Ghana is under his exclusive purview. If Naabu had a problem with Djaba, he ought to have complained to the internal NPP structures, not sent in his goons. Lawlessness once again, rears it's ugly head. It is necessary for cooler heads to prevail, but we do know both Naabu and Djaba are prone to reckless public pronouncements. The recent NPP statements on the matter should help in calming things down. These people have a whole country to govern, but they are so unsophisticated and tacky. Ghana politicians! smh!
