I wish all mothers a happy mothers' day. Mothers and women in general are special. Their contributions to our existence cannot be valued in monetary terms. Those of you who were lucky to have older sisters as sibblings can attest that they were like second mothers to you. I was the first of seven kids and never had the comfort of having bigger sister but now, am enjoying the love that sisters offer. I was previlaged to have a loving, caring, strong and hardworking mother. She still lives in my mind because she is the one I shared my pains, joy and aspiration with. Though I couldn't return the love she showed and gave me, I am very happy that I told her Afua Fie, I Love You. I used to call her by her name and she called bro Obeng. That was our relationship. I am very happy that she did not die alone but had me and second brother by her bedside when she died in 2013.

Those of you whose mothers are still alive, you might not know that few words like mama or maame "medo wo" love you will leave mum speechless for a time.

Am also happy to have a very good wife, who gives her best to make our home a happy one. I will call on all men to look unto the faces of their mothers and threat their wivies with love and care. Love your wivies, protect your country and be a good father figure for the children. Happy Mothers' day to all humanity.
