  This is a very good approach for the Tema Port. In a modern Port, we don't need clearing agents. In the ports of the US, there are no clearing agents and so why do we have clearing agents in Ghana?

  Dr. Please let them reduce the import duties on cars.They are killing poor diaporians. How can one pay for 20.000 GHC to clear one used Nissan Primera? It's barbaric. Try to do something.

  To stop personal collecting CASH in the port is the best way to stop the problem.
  
  All the money should pay in the bank. Then go with your receipt to clear your goods/merchandise

  Most of the customs clearing agents are even semi=literates who are in the business to dupe their clients and make money.I know of a soldier who was attached to the Customs during Rawling's brutal PNC rule,resigned from the army and became a customs clearing agent.How he got the customs clearing agent certificate still baffles me.At the ports it is corruption galore and not efficiency.It is thieves who work at the ports.THEY[CUTOMS OFFICERS,CLEARING AGENTS AND GPHA WORKERS] GO TO WORK WITH A TARGETED AMOUNT OF MONEY WHICH THEY HAVE TO GET AT THE CLOSE OF WORK.THIEVES!!!

You went to passport office the other time to show off. Nothing has happened there. Go and see how Ghanaians are being treated by fellow Ghanians in the scorching sun and rain. We sit and complain about how foreign embassies in Ghana treat us but what goes on in the passport office is worse. It is not mouth ooooo Bawumia, work!!!!
