  This idea of accumulated leave must be This accumulated leave practice must be topped.Top executives are using it as a means of escape whenever their bad deeds are exposed.
  The fact is this: these executives still manage to take time off work indiscriminately during the period they claim they never went on leave. Some even pay themselves huge leave bonuses on the pretext that they did not have the chance to take their actual leave entitlement.
  The break from the daily routines of work is a means for staff to some rest in order to prepare and refresh adequately for productive work for another year. The deliberate refusal by anybody to take their entitled leave in effect affects productivity very badly.
  Someone somewhere should take proper look at this corrupt practice. God help Ghana.
