  What the guy did is bad , I'm not in support of this attitude but let's look at it with another eye, the question I always ask is , is really the laws of this country to protect its citizens? How can you waste human capital like this , a 23 year man to spend seven years of his productive life in jail . Ghana, our laws are really bad. A politician will defraud the state over billions of dollars and will walk free , tsatsu was just given 5 years but someone will steals plantain and will be jailed 10 yrs. Our laws are just to protect the rich.

  go to central , upper east, upper west, volta, B/A men over 40 yrs mostly teachers, drivers, carpenters etc impregnate 10 to 15 yrs and no one arrest them. it's very sad to vist antenal clinic .pregnant kids .

  Did the young man rape her? Considering his tender age of 23 years and probably lack of maturity in life, he can be imprisoned for 6 months to help him reform, come out of prison to work to take care of the child..Will the go ...

  Did the young man rape her? Considering his tender age of 23 years and probably lack of maturity in life, he can be imprisoned for 6 months to help him reform, come out of prison to work to take care of the child..Will the government take care of the child and provide opportunity for the mother to go to school or learn a trade while the young man is in incarceration? Better still, cant the courts resort to non-custodial sentences for these crimes?
