We should wait until we get the facts from the court why they were freed before we pass judgment. Maybe the actions taken by the judge are legally acceptable. Let us wait for the facts to come out.

Emile Short always gives NPP Officials a longer leash than any other Party's in blaming them for blatant and obvious breaches of the Law.

He is fast losing the trust of many objective Ghanaians. We all know how patience weighs in deliberations of criminal offences. But when offences are so obvious, like this, an eminent Judicial personality like Emile ought not act like there is a more potent reason to expect the innocence of the culprits even before the facts are presented in Court.

Meanwhile, Emile hasn't been that patient with others of different Political stripes acting similarly in the past.

It is the kind of response Emile gave that makes many believe majority of our Legal greats have some soft spots in their hearts for only NPP. Is it because of their special relationship with Akufo-Addo? There is nothing that irks me more than a self-professed champion of Rule of Law blatantly brushing aside its application.

How could Emile not recognize the catastrophic image the sudden freeing of these culprits, without any significant hearings, create in the Public's mind?

And what did he say about the Otiko and Bugri mutual allegations of serious crimes, including complicity in Murder?
