ANABA? incompetence at its peak. Dr anaba was went through an interview process and came up tops. he was given an appointment letter. the fact that MOH is not the ones paying him is neither here nor there.

I agree that how he gets paid doesn't matter at this point, however if the minister of health is responsible for all government hospitals then the director position falls under the minister so he has the upper hand on who he wants to retain to work in his ministry. Just because you went through an interview and the hiring process and got a contract does not mean you can't be fired or transferred. In fact I don't see the problem here -- the minister needs to get security or the police to walk him out. Why is the minister wasting time on the media and not ending this bull. Sure Anaba has every right to go to court with his grievances and that is all there is to it.

The government can fire him for cause or for no reason. Anaba has made his position untenable. His presence on the property of the hospital can be tantamount to trespassing. His response to his termination is definitely insorbodination of the highest order. If he is trespassing, he can be arrested and subject to criminal prosecution. Once again, a display of the "patapaa" attitude of some Ghanaians. Let him spend a few days in Nsawam whilst he awaits his hearing for criminal trespassing charges to bring him to his senses.
