After his installation, there has been tension at Kwahu-Abene, which is the royal seat of the Kwahuman Traditional Area as the Traditional Council is against his installation.

Nana Kesse Odoten III, chief of the royal family (Adehyehene) at the press briefing, said the Traditional Council was yet to comprehend why Nana Adare Frempong, Werempehene of Abene, thought he could unilaterally nominate, approve, elect and enstool Prof. Akosa as the Omanhene without their knowledge.

According to the Adehyehene, Werepehene's secret action was not only against tradition and their customary law regarding the election of a paramount chief, but it's also unconstitutional, a blatant misconduct and breach of faith and trust reposed in Nana Adare Frempong, as Werepehene and accredited member of the Abene Council.

“It's not only sad but incredible, as to how Prof. Agyemang Badu Akosa, in spite of his academic achievements, professional and social standing, could naively and illegally have wool pulled into his eyes, by a crafty old man and his bunch of troublemakers……..” he underscored.

If you don't know a tribes traditions and customs don't comment. Assins in the Central region are Ashantis and they have their history to that, Worawora on the Volta region are from Kuntunase near lake Bosomtwe and can decide which way for a queen mother or a chief. Koforidua/NJ has their paramount Chief from Juaben /Ashanti because that is their ancestral home and the families link so what are you talking about? Kotoko Manhene the paramount Chief of Akyim/Kotoku Oda and surrounding areas have their Omanhene from Asante/Akyim in the Ashanti region and the family links still exist and working,that's why we tell you to be careful when you insulting because you don't know the history and might be insulting one ethnic group but it will turn to be over half of the country will get hurt. If I'm an Ashanti from the Eastern region you don't expect me to keep quiet when you insult Ashantis, I will hold your neck.

First of all he conned his way to become a professor with least possible academic back up and crafty short cuts at the expense of genuine candidates. Then he set about destroying his own marriage by sleeping with his wife's servants and workers, then he put some of his negative evil energy in the direction of CPP party which was enough to almost collapse the party with the help of his alleged girlfriend Samia Nkrumah. Together they caused CPP party split and formation of a brand new useless PPP party which will never mount to anything except for wasting a lot of Ndoum's money weakening CPP by stealing some of the poorer CPP members who were seduced by Dr Ndoum's money as that is all that he has, he has NO principles or ideology, only cash and big ego and ambition to expand his business empire by any means possible. Mr Badu Akosa is No Chief, he is just a fake Thief and a destroyer, the sooner they clear him off the better for those who come under that stolen Chieftancy stool in the Estern Region which is being highjacked by a crafty Ashanti conman. They must act, but they will surely expose him and get rid of him in no time, once the locals and elders add their voices to the queen mother, this crime will be stopped in its tracks and Mr Akosa will have to look for another misadventure to go and cause mayhem and destruction somewhere else, no doubt.

I lived my formative years at Asante Effiduase, from 1950 to 1968. One thing I know of is that all the big area behind the GCB Bank Ltd in Effiduase are from Kwahu. They speak the Kwahu direct. In actual fact, the immediate past Effiduase Hene Late Nana Dua A were was brought from Mpraeso in Kwahu to be Effiduase Hene, he spoke the Kwahu dialect. On the subject matter of the installation of a chief,Akans largely has one custom. Its generally the Queen mother in consultation with the head of family ( Abusua Panyin) who nominates a candidate and hands the nominee to the stool elders for confirmation. Its also normally done in the afternoon. These are just some facts I want clarified.
