###SOURCE: CLASSFMONLINE ------ The Government of Ghana is reviewing the debts incurred by the John Mahama administration to find out whether the loans were used for the purposes of which they were contracted, Senior Minister Yaw Osafo Marfo, has revealed. After the review of the debt situation, the findings will be made public to enable the Ghanaian people realise how their moneys were spent by the previous administration, Mr Marfo added. It is recalled that during the electioneering season the then main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) accused the Mahama government of excessive borrowing but with little to show for, an assertion the then governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) rubbished because they thought they had embarked on several infrastructural projects with those loans. Mr Marfo speaking during the National Policy Summit on Tuesday May 16 said revealed that the new government is investigating all the debts left behind by Mr Mahama. “We are working on the numbers, the ministry of finance gives us the bulk numbers. But they do not all emanate from one source, we have some sitting in energy, some sitting in SSNIT and we are examining all. As a government and we are doing it gradually and slowly because we must be accurate. “We want to be sure that whatever comes out finally is accurate. The government owes it as a duty to keep the nation informed about these debts and what it was used for.”

With such a high number of us who attend church or visit the mosque for prayers, we shutdown have a low level of corruption in Ghana.
Let this crusade start with the churches and mosques preaching to their members about the evil effects of corrupt deeds.But we should all participate by n rooting out corruption. We astart with ourselves and go on to our fellow citizens.Lets work together to build a better Ghana.

Locate them everywhere in the city with one service person as the supervisor for every 10 non-graduates. Their role will be to sweep and pick any rubbish and arrange for their disposal. After the 100 days, they should start the role of arresting anybody seen dropping any waste of any kind anywhere. Once arrested, the initial punishment will be for the person involved to keep a distance on 200 meters clean everyday for one month by sweeping and picking without being paid. After 3 months of this, the role of the initial workers be to get people to pay for any waste they generate and dispose of illegally. All the regional capitals can replicate this and it should go down to the district capitals, towns and villages. Nothing complex, simple cleaning methods. Ghana will start looking clean after only 6 MONTHS.

EOCO should be absolved into the special prosecutor's bureau.
If we don't take these steps, every attempt at rooting out corruption would be in vain.These institutions are just the same wine in different bottles.If they take instructions from the office of the president to act, I am afraid justice is being tampered with here!

Some of their appointees have started some nefarious practices that will certainly bring big shame to their doorsteps. At some of the agencies that they have been posted to, they have started lining their pockets with fat salaries without the authorization of the Public Services Commission and the Fair Wages Commission. The government should turn their attention there before it gets out of hand.
