  Amina,unification sounds good but not in the continent of Africa.why in our earlier days of independence were the appropriate time for unity,now the unity is far to our reach.the population in each Africa country has gone up with more chaotic systems of governments,tribalism,religious extremists,land/chieftency disputes,wrong political discuss and so on.first of all Ghana as sovereign nationa need one common local language attach to the so called slave masters language to be spoken across the country,which is not easy because Africans lack what I call sacrifies no tribal communities are ready to sacrifies their native language like what's the Europeans did or USA,so the dream of unity is a taboo period.
