Africans are complicit in undercutting commodity exports (ex: oil, gold, copper, etc.). The benefactors are definitely African corrupt leaders who are happy to receive 1-to-5 percent skim off while their governments get a skimpy 10 percent fraction at best.

The case of Tanzania, Acacia mining and their mineral sand exports will shed some very good light on the scope and extent of losses Africa incurs annually from all manner of illicit outflows. In this example of Tanzania, we are talking trillions and that is from just Tanzania alone.
