Unlike Nkrumah our leaders who came after Nkrumah were thieves who thought about how to loot our Treasury and amass wealth for themselves and their families. Patriotism in Ghana died with Nkrumah.

After Nkrumah, we have had weak, timid and corrupt leaders who conspire with foreign capitalists to loot and share our resources.

Poor Mp's go into politic to make their money and not to serve the nation. NDC Govt was full of such people like Okudzeto Ablakwa straight from University.

Especially Christianity and Islam. Now,the failure by the African freedom fighters to recognise the importance of Africa Spirituality to fight it alongside the political freedom is the cause of Africa's underdevelopment, corruption etc. These men (Nkrumah, Mandela, Selase Kenyatta etc ) only focus on the political freedom and were soft on the basic tool for a national development which is the spirituality of that nation. Spirituality which is found within the practices of the traditions and the cultures of the people, tribe or nation.Traditions&Cultures which is embodimentental Spirituality within which love, respect, selflessness, incorruptible, patriotism etc is found.Examples are Israel, Saudi Arabia, Rome, Japan etc. The recognition and respect of traditions and culture is what the colonial masters has coated it to be called re-ligions and Africa will struggle hard to achieve whatever until Africa pays attention to its spiritual recognition.Imagine if public servants are made to swear by the Deities of their villages instead of the Bible and Koran which is not doing us any good. We are Africans and it would have been better for us to move on with the West or the East along with common intelligence.I wish we close down all mosques and chapels and turn them into Cassava processing factories and other Art ,carving or craft centers and earn from exports.
