  Government after government gets praises singers like this until they are out of power.
  Look out how Bugiri cows and goats case died naturally at the presidency all because he is a member of a ruling government and let's compared the speed and air waves when it matters opposition classical case of Ibrahim.
  Corruption are fought against only the opposition until a government of the day can be bold to sacrifice it's own fat lamb for the corruption fight it will be the same story.

  Corruption seems to have become a convention, a tradition a pschological need and a necessity to many people in public servive. What effective checks and balances exist to make it more difficult to conceal corruption? Does the legal system offer more protection to whistle blowers? Do workers in public sectors have internal discipline and greater incentives to avoid taking bribes? Giving presents to officials- can it be branded as corruption as in the recent case of Bugri Nabu?

  Akufo-Addo can do no better than JJ Rawlings, JA Kufuor, Atta Mills, JD Mahama. These local leaders are too limited intellectually and in mental acuity to bring change to the country. Expecting a local breed such as Akufo-Addo to effect change apart from the sordid culture is an exercise in futility. It is not going to work.

  Bravo Dr. A! but we should not defer to the government to decide on these matters; the citizenry should demand transfer of constitutional powers to the localities to form their own government. Decentralize power!!
