If for nothing at all, we need an airline as a national pride. Look at the money officialdom are stealing and nothing is happening to them. So, if we have a national airline, as a pride, what is the big deal?

American Airline is a private company and not for Americans. The government can just allow any airline company to use the name "Ghana Airways" and collect money from such company for using the name.

Ghana political gurus were using Ghana Airways as their private property. Girl friends, mother in-laws etc were flying free. No more! Use the national resources for something better.

It's obvious you are under the payroll of the foreign airlines. Why don't you go to your paymasters and ask them them to relinquish theirs?????

We only need " A flag carrier" why don't we only encourage private participation where the state only offers the airline to fly our flag for say 20% stake ? With govt not investing any money. Making the airline a purely public trading company . In that way it will stay efficient and cost effective.
Otherwise the airline will be a deep hole that will be saddle with huge debts as usual.
