Are you telling Ghanaians that Dr Stephen Opuni who nearly collapse the cocoa industry with your wife lordina as the main supplier on everything including sanitary pad at the cocoa board should be maintained in office. Are you telling Ghanaians that the Standard Board Authority Executive secretary by appointed by you who looted the state should be maintained in office. The SADA rot n you say that they the CEO and board members should be maintained in office. NIB boss , ADB boss , GCB boss , Colonel Damoah ,Director of manpower , Ghana Arm forces ,National Youth Employment Coordinators at the District level including 88 national security officials and 442 newly recruited military men were all sacked from office when was the vice president and chairman of the police council .Under Nana Addo government your corrupt youth employment coordinators who created the Geeda mess are still in Office. Your wife who failed to supply fertilizer to cocoa board at a cost of $380m even though she was paid fully is now walking free and you’re talking about human rights abuse. If the Dog fails to shout on thief it means there is sharing between the Dog and the thief” . The greatest threat of fighting corruption in our society is the hypocrisy of some Ghanaians. I know that our current president Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo, is known by many as a man of principle; one who keeps his words, and walks the talk. Recently when some people were cited by the BNI for investigation of various issues of financial malfeasance, people started criticizing the government of a witch hunting: They branded the investigation process as selective and directed mainly against the previous NDC appointees and supporters. Others described it as ethnocentric driven vendetta: but the same people forget what happened in Ghana during the revolutionary era. The reality is that crimes and criminal minded individuals have no party colors and could be from any of the two major political aisles. So if we draw a political picture in our fight against corruption, how are we going to fight the canker, which is so prevalent in our Socio Political dispensation: and the greatest threat to our survival as a nation and a society of equal rights and freedom of Justice which was the basis of our fight against colonialism by the founding fathers of our beloved nation? Nevertheless every right minded Ghanaian citizen believes that fighting corruption is our collective responsibility and needs be tackled with a Pragmatic approach. Recently the president proposed that some of the best and effective tools for fighting corruption is to name and shame the culprits and to effectively prosecute the prospective and the would be criminals. In my opinion this might not be enough why? Most of the corrupt government officials and other people who engage in malfeasance do it as a result of societal and peer pressure; most of these people are morally weak that, they would try to appease their families and friends and therefore engage in every means possible to meet their demands to raise their status in their various communities and societies. As a result, it would be effective to shame these people in their various communities and in presence of their town folks than to totally incarcerate them to serve their full sentence. The best way to do this is for the legislature to pass a sweeping reforms of how people who are found culpable of financial malfeasance and economic sabotage against our nation should be sentenced. I am therefore suggesting that these convicts should be sentenced to serving a three-quarters of their total sentence in incarceration and the remaining quarter in Communal or Community Labor. The authorities must make sure that, these convicts perform the community labor in their home towns or in their neighborhood of residence to make a point of deterrence that " This Person is a Thief and a Bad Citizen and Therefore should be seen as the Bad nuts in the Society. I think considering our culture and the prestige that people want to maintain in their various communities, nobody will want to be in this dilemma. Do you think there can be any way of deterrence than this?

Mr President, it's not enough to make these revelations. What Ghanaians want is for such huge sums collected into state coffers. The Information Ministry must as a matter of urgency start the compilation of monies stolen and/or retrieve since assuming office, and deploy their information vehicles, and their officers throughout the country to inform the Ghanaian people what the NDC government and its officials did to our taxes. The exercise must be carried out mostly in the rural areas. This will in no doubt enable Ghanaians heed the call of the 1st Lady that "President has to fix Ndc's Mahama mess of the economy before implementing Npp's manifesto promises to stabilise the economy"

Dont just spew garbage wait and see systems, checks and balance been put in place and the results.

Tell the govt officials who influence customs officers in their work to stop. don't heed to their demand and u will be transferred to the hinterlands. Some of these officers were just used.

Like the journalist who owns that $3m mansion at Tantra Hill and the "galamsey King," ALL MUST BE UNMASKED AND PROSECUTED. WHAT IS THE NPP GOVERNMENT WAITING FOR? WHAT MORE EVIDENCE DOES THE PRESIDENT AND HIS ADVISERS NEED BEFORE THEY TAKE SWIFT, RULE-OF-LAW ACTION?

The government MUST act decisively and quickly before they are booted away, like the John Mahama-led NDC government.

Government officials steal millions while babies are dying in hospitals because there are no resouses to buy incubators. The amount alleged to have been stolen by the Customs Office would have been enough to equip every government hospital with adequate neonatal units. The alleged robbers want to kill babies? The government should deal squarely with all the thieves and corrupt government officials; they are worse than the armed robbers. I doubt if any armed robbing team in Ghana has ever got away with Ghc1.2 billion.
